COMPREHENSION IN SAFETY TRAINING

Thursday, May 18, 2017 • 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Northampton Community College, Main Campus, College Center, Room 220

Presented by: Lehigh Valley Safety Committee, CBI – Health & Safety

The workforce is more diverse than ever. Not only do we have multiple generations working together but we also have multiple cultures and possibly literacy levels. While the diversity of your workforce may have changed, the prevention of work related injuries and illnesses has never been more important. Safety training is a key element in that prevention and comprehension is key to effective training.

Please join us on May 18 for Comprehension in Safety Training, a free presentation that addresses the challenges human resource professionals, corporate trainers and health and safety managers may encounter when developing, implementing and evaluating comprehension of on-site safety training programs. Program will include presentations on:

  1. Choosing your Words Wisely
  2. The Literacy Factor
  3. Addressing Multi-generational and Multi-cultural Employees in Your Training Plans

Come prepared for an interactive experience where you will be encouraged to share success stories and challenges you are encountering. Continental breakfast, bag lunch and all materials are provided. Registration is required to attend. Attendance is free & limited.
